Jesus told us that He is the Light of the World.
See John 8:12
As we turn to Him in faith, He can banish the darkness we can sometimes feel when we are afraid.
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Fear can be a helpful and productive feeling. It can help us avoid real dangers. But too much fear can become unnecessary and painful.
The Bible teaches us how we can replace fear with faith. Let’s read a few of those scriptures now.
And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words.
You don’t need to fear what other people say. It is not their opinions that count.
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you.
The Holy Spirit can help you feel Jesus’s presence in your life so you never have to be alone.
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
2 Timothy 1:7
Fear does not come from God. If you turn to Him, His love and power can overcome your fears.
Like this simple but powerful lesson, the Bible is full of messages of comfort, inspiration, and guidance.
